MTX-30F Not What I Expected - A Sad Experience

I purchased the MTX30F believing it was an upgrade to our current time clock system. (An ICON RTC 1000 2.0) How wrong I was. This Amano MTX-30 is 1. difficult to deploy - Included manual and online resources not adequate. Almost impossible without their tech support. Installation of clock, deploying on your network, installation of software. All very time consuming. Communicating with support and waiting for an answer.
2. Very confusing and click intensive to pull time punches down and manage.
3. Time clock is not well designed and has internal programming glitches or issues. Support was very nice and played down the process that they explained to overcome the gui failures.
Over All - I am going to continue to use my old ICON Clock - No software to install and just login to the clock locally and look at time cards or schedules. I do not recommend anyone wasting their money or Time on the Amano MTX-30

The unit looks good, but we haven't installed it yet. The setup instructions are very detailed and is going to take some time to set up. The unit is plugged in and lighted but we haven't filled in all the software prompts.

Received product next day, easy set up instructions. Had an issue with setting up software on our network and called customer support and they walked me through everything. Fast service and excellent knowledge of product. Very please with the product and service of Amana/Time Guardian.
